Claremount House Accommodation
Claremont House in Keswick is a highly-rated, refurbished 1840's coach house that balances traditional charm with modern comforts. Recently refurbished to a very high standard, our five guestrooms are spacious with comfortable beds, seating areas, views and all have private ensuite shower facilities.
Set in an acre of mature woodland and gardens, the property offers a peaceful retreat with immediate access to nature. Red squirrels are daily visitors to the garden, and deer can occasionally be spotted grazing in the woodland.
Location: Being located on a hill overlooking Keswick town and Bassenthwaite Lake there are some pretty amazing views here. All guest rooms have some sort of view but "Skiddaw", in particular, offers dual-aspect views of Keswick, Bassenthwaite Lake, Derwentwater, and the surrounding fells.
We're about a 3 minute drive into town or around a leisurely 20 minutes if you walk down Penrith Road alongside the river Greta.
